2nd Semester’s Sem Break ^^

        My semester break started on 13 Dec 2013. So far, I did quite a lot of things during these holidays. I would like to talk about cheong K with my old secondary school buddies. We finally managed to cheong K together after 6 months. This is because all of us study in different courses and were busy with our studies. Fortunately, all of us have holidays now so we finally went to loudspeaker to sing for 3 hours. I lost my voice soon after singing many songs with them. I hope next time we can still find time to go sing again.

        After cheong K with my friends, I went back to Penang with my family. I visited my grandpa and grandma in Penang. I bought new checkered clothes when I was shopping in morning market which is located nearby my grandma’s house. During the few days I spent in Penang, I often accompany my grandma by having lunch and dinner with her and have a small talk with her. My grandma’s house got rare several kinds of pet such as cat, roasters, tortoise and fish. I am interested in the kitten rare by my grandma. The kitten is really scared of strangers. Whenever I tried to get close with her, she will look at me like I am going to eat her and she will run away as fast as she can when I approached her. My grandma said she is not familiar with us, which is why she will run away when we walked close to her. After 3 days I tried to see and approached the kitten, finally she is not that scared of me, but my family and I are preparing to go back to Subang le because we only have 4 to 5 days holidays in Penang. My brother needs to get back to work because he only took a few days leave. Lastly, before we went back to Subang, we managed to celebrate Winter Solstice with my grandma. My mom and I helped my grandma to make “Tang Yuan” the day before Winter Solstice. Then, we ate the “Tang Yuan” the next morning after having our breakfast.

        After coming back from Penang, I hanged out with him during Christmas Eve. I watched Frozen with him in cinema and that is the first time I watched movie with him. I was a bit excited that day because I didn’t see him for more than a week during this sem break. We walked around in the shopping mall together and had lunch together at a vegetarian restaurant nearby. I have had a great day with him that day. Hope to have more outings with him in the future. XD

Study break…

My one week study break is started yesterday. Study break means to let students got some time to do all the revision for final exams. Anyway, there are some feelings I would like to express them out during this semester 2.

The first thing I would want to talk about is forming groups for group assignments. In this semester, I only got 1 subject which is English that needs to form a group and do a group presentation. My lecturer told us that a group should be consist of 5 to 6 members so that the assignment can be done easily because each person only need to in charge in one or two sections. My lecturer also encourages us to form groups with our own classmates, so that we are more convenient to discuss the assignment together.

This is where the issue started; forming groups with 5 to 6 people. My class only has about 17 people, and there are 3 people who are not welcomed by our other classmates because they did not do their work as a group member during the last sem. Most of my classmates already form their groups and hence left me, 2 of my friends and the 3 unreliable classmates. That time, I really feel being ignored by my classmates as they form their group so fast and did not even think for the 3 of us. I also feel very disappointed that when I request them to spare 1 or 2 members to our group as our group is lack of people, the answer they gave me is “no, we need them”, “sorry, we cannot help you” and etc. To be honest, I really felt terrible that time, I never think that we have been same class for 1 semester and they actually did not care about the 3 of us when comes to group assignment. In the end, my lecturer allowed the 3 of us to form a group and then we worked really hard together to cover all the sections. I felt happy with my group assignment’s marks and also the presentation marks. I would like to thank my 2 other group members for cooperating with each other.

The second thing I want to say is there is some classmates’ attitude that I dislike. I dislike those who like to act like they know but actually they don’t really know. I also dislike those who like to badmouth others behind their backs. Besides, I also dislike those who are lazy to complete their works and kept on depending on others to send their works for them to edit. Actually, when I am in primary and secondary school that time, I am strongly against copying others’ works. But now, I have become more relax after I start my college life, I can accept others to refer to my work but then please do not request for copy or just edit some stuffs. I can help you by guiding you how to do it, but please don’t over requesting me because sometimes that really pissed me off because I am the kind of person who lack of patience. (PS: I am trying to be nice sometimes, so please don’t over my limit. TQ.)

The last thing I want to say before ending this post is I feel like I gain many interesting experiences after coming to college. I started to hang out with friends, playing bowling together, celebrating others’ birthday together and meet new friends with different kinds of personality. I feel like I am slowly growing up as I experience more in college. Although there are some attitudes I don’t like, I still enjoy the time when we laugh together, hang out together, crazy together and understand each other.

Mid semester break…

I am having my one week mid semester break this week, the break seems kinda short for me because my holiday is filled with 2 assignments and also going college for practicing to hold 2 plates with a hand. Besides, I also went to college yesterday to help my lecturer to clean the college’s kitchen a.k.a spring cleaning (means one time a year).

My lecturer actually asked me n my classmates to come to help him, but then most of my classmates are in their hometown, and some of them feel lazy to come because they live quite far from college. (F.Y.I: I actually came to help my lecturer because my lecturer said he will take attendance and he will also give those who come for help extra marks for finals). So, my class only two of us turned up to clean the kitchen. Luckily, some juniors came and helped; if not, I don’t think we can manage to fully clean the kitchen.

Besides, I also faced some problem in completing my assignment. This is because the assignment requires us to write 3 pages long of essay. Fortunately, my lecturer told us that if we have any questions, we can ask him through e-mail anytime. Hence, I wrote e-mail to him and he also got reply me. His replies had guided me to complete my assignment smoothly. *Thanks*

Time flies, my college is reopening on next Monday, which mean I still left one more day to enjoy. This semester is a bit difficult compared to last semester, because this sem contains more practical classes and I am a bit weak in practical, that is why I have put down some weight recently. My relative told me that I looked slimmer compared to last time she saw me. *PS: should I feel happy because I become slimmer or should I start taking care of my healthiness because I know my weight loss is mostly due to study pressure?*

My final will be on December, and my semester break starts in the mid December. Hence, I hope I can improve in my practical class and also looking forward for my semester break. XD

Maple Story (3)

        I created a new character called Luminous in Maple about 2 weeks ago. Now my character already reached level 117. I plan to train my luminous to level 120, and then I will help my brother to train his demon avenger to level 120 as well. After that, I will create a new character called Xenon. I heard that Xenon is a good character with good damage and is powerful to use for bossing, so I want to try it.

        I am going to introduce the 2 characters that I have mentioned in my 1^st paragraph. Luminous is a character that has 2 types of power which are light and dark power. If you play luminous in Maple, you can use the light and dark powers to hit monsters and for leveling. Luminous’ powers are quite similar to other magician’s power, luminous uses magic powers to attack monsters. Demon Avenger is quite a fun character to use because this character does not have any MP (mana points). All his attacks use only HP (health points) unlike any other characters in Maple. He also has a skill which will restore his HP after hitting monsters. This character can help you save a lot of mesos (maple’s money) because you do not need to buy any potions.

        I am not going to introduce Xenon because I haven’t played this character yet. I also don’t know Xenon got what types of skills. Therefore, I am going to introduce it after I have tried Xenon. XD –To be continued-

Semester Break! XD

        Finally, all my final exams are finish. Today is the first day of my 2 weeks semester break. I feel so happy and relax. I am going to have a plan for my holidays.

        Firstly, I will try to update my blog during this holiday because I feel that my blog has too little post for this year. I will also play all the games that I usually play. Besides, I will clean and tidy up my study table and my bedroom.

        Secondly, I will hang out with my friends during the holiday if they are free and available. I hope to meet my friends and keep in touch with them. I also want to listen to their latest update such as their schools’ events, exams, tests, friends and plans for future.

        Lastly, I am going back to my mom’s hometown during this semester break for a few days. I am looking forward to go back to the hometown where there are many delicious and tasty foods. I can also meet my relatives in the hometown especially my grandpa and grandma. Therefore, I am going to fully enjoy my semester break with the plan that I have made. Final Exams Coming Soon

        My final exams are in the end of July which is coming soon. I still have 1 more assignment and 1 more presentation to do. I am going to have my beverage practical exam on next Tuesday. Today, I went to my college to use the bar to practice how to make the mocktail created by me and my group mate. We made 5 glasses in total to successfully get the right taste for our mocktails. The 1^st glass we made was too sweet, the 2^nd glass was sweet, the 3^rd and 4^th one also considered a bit sweet, till the 5^th glass only we get a balance between the sweet and sour taste. Finally, after so many trials, we managed to get the nice taste for our creation mocktail, we named it as Mangsion Ale.

        After my beverage practical exam, I am going to have Malaysian Studies exam on next Thursday. Then, from 29^th July till 1^st August, I am having 5 subjects’ final exams. Therefore, after the next 2 weeks, I am going to be free because I have completed my semester one and can rest for 2 weeks (semester break). Wee…..I am looking forward for my semester break! XD Wish me good luck in my practical exam and finals.

College life begins…

        It’s been a long time since my last post, so I decided to update my blog. I quitted my form 6 several months ago because I felt that form 6 is very hard and stressful for me. Therefore, I chose to study a diploma in college.

        The course that I have chosen is Diploma in Hotel Management. I am currently studying in Inti College. April 8 is my first day in the college. I attended the Orientation day and manage to meet some new friends. I have around 17 classmates in my class. My course is quite relaxed because my timetable is not very pack and the lecturers did not give us a lot of homework to complete. The earliest class starts at 8 a.m., therefore I no need to wake up so early everyday like I need during my form 6 life.

        Every day, my father fetches me to college and I will take bus to go home after my class ends. The bus fee is quite cheap which is RM 1 per ride. So I only need to spend RM 1 to go home. Yesterday, I have done my group presentation for my English class. Fortunately, I only need to present in front of around 17 classmates, therefore I did not feel too nervous. Nowadays, I am quite enjoying my college life. I wish that I can do well in my studies and complete all the assignments that my lecturers assign to me.
